Website and New Facebook Groups
Thu 19 Mar 2020We are going to try loading work on to our website tonight ready for tomorrow. We hope that this will all run smoothly, but please bear with us if we have technical issues again. Our company assure us they are working to fix the issue. We will be looking at alternative solutions to host work if we cannot resolve the issues.
Also, we will be launching three new closed Facebook groups tomorrow: a KS1, a LKS2 and an UKS2 group. There will be a place where you can post questions, share work and communicate with the teachers in each department over the next few weeks. They will also be used as a back-up in the short term if our website lets us down. We are really keen to keep the links between school and home strong, and we hope you find these groups useful in this challenging time. More info will be sent as we have it.

Online Reading Scheme Available
Thu 19 Mar 2020Reading Books for KS1:
We have an online subscription for reading scheme books that will be useful for our younger children and will keep them reading at the right level.
The reading scheme can be used on any online device, but you should note that they are not phonetically decodable. Just use the children’s previous book band (the one they were on before our new books were introduced) as a guide for the right level.
Go to:
https://connect.collins.co.uk/school/
You can log in as a pupil with the following details:
First name: Class
Surname: Pupil
D.O.B: 01/01/2001
Year Group: 1
Password: Norfolk (with capital N)

Further note about the closure:
Wed 18 Mar 2020We are still open Thursday and Friday for ANY children that need to be in school. The government has directed schools to close (for the majority of children) by Friday. We are simply aware that lots of parents are very keen to keep children at home, and with our dwindling staff, we believe it sensible to give parents that option. Teachers will still be in school with any remaining children, while others begin to make plans for provision for the next few weeks. More information will follow on Thursday.
Thanks again!

If you are able, please keep your children at home tomorrow (Thursday 19th). We will develop a plan for children of key workers etc. tomorrow and inform you as we know.
Work will be available for children on the website on Friday. If you have no internet access and require paper packs, please telephone the office tomorrow.
With thanks for your continued support,
Mrs Bland and Miss Wilson
