In autumn term, we have been deepening our understanding of the four operations. The four operations (addition, subtraction, division and multiplication) are core skills that further support all areas of mathematics that we learn throughout the year. Below you can see some pictures of work from across the school, showing how they have begun to master their calculations.

Our EYFS children have begun to master number. Exploring all the different ways we can represent each number and learning to count up and down in patterns.

Some of our children have also begun their unit exploring shape. Looking at the properties and features of 2D and 3D shapes and how we can identify and classify each type.
