P.E

Throughout the year, all of the children will have the opportunity to have PE with a qualified coach, and a term doing Forest Schools. This term we shall have forest schools and a PE lesson.

As the children do PE on different days, please ensure they have the correct kit in school all week and, if you wish, take it home to wash on a Friday. 

Our PE days are:

Eucalyptus (Miss Redican) - Tuesday

Fir (Miss Cousen) – Wednesday

Holly ( Miss Maltby) – Tuesday

Our Forest School days are:

Eucalyptus (Miss Redican) - Thursday (PM)

Fir (Miss Cousen) - Friday (AM)

Holly (Miss Maltby) - Monday (AM)

Music

In Year 3/4 all children have the opportunity to learn an instrument with a professional music teacher. This year the children will be learning the ukulele. Lessons will be taking place on a Monday. Instruments will be provided in school. Children are welcome to bring their own instrument on a Monday and the ukulele teacher will tune it in preparation for the lesson. There will be a parents concert in January as well as one in the Summer term at the end of the music lessons.

Volunteers

We are always looking for volunteers who would like to offer the children a little of their time to listen to them read or help them practise their mental maths. If you or someone you know would like to volunteer please get in touch with the school office.
