KS1 Trip to Wickes
Wed 07 Feb 2018As the topic this half term is 'Materials' and the book we are focusing on in Literacy is ' The 3 Little Pigs' I thought it would be a good opportunity to visit our local Wickes store.
The children had a great time and the staff were very helpful and gave each child a few samples of wood. They had made a house out of sticks and the children had to pretend to be the Wolf and try to blow it down! Each child was also given a pencil and tape measure which they were thrilled with.
We were very pleased with the questions that the children asked and the manager at Wickes said she was very impressed with all the children's behaviour. A huge thank you to the staff at Wickes.
