Year 1 Phonics Screening Checks

 

Next week (w/b 10th June) Y1 children across the country will sit their Phonics Screening Check (PSC).  Full details about this can be found by clicking on the following link. 

 

These checks will be administered in a low-key way, and will be very similar to the phonics assessments we do every half term, so please do not be concerned - the children are very familiar and comfortable with the process. 

 

Year 2 children, who either did not pass the check, or who were absent last year, will do a re-take check this year. 

 

Results will be included in the end of the year school report.
