As we are seeing some wintry weather this weekend, it is a good time to update you on our procedures for informing parents/carers about snow closures etc. 

 

We will always aim to stay open, so long as we can do so safely (e.g. with enough staff). If we need to close the school due to bad weather, we will send a text out to parents as soon as the decision is made. 

 

We will also update the 'Latest News' on the website, as well as the scrolling banner on the home page.  We will make efforts to contact local radio and news, but text and the website will be our first line in communication. 

 

If we have to close during the winter months, we will endeavour to provide work on Google Classrooms (or Seesaw for EYFS) as soon as we can.
