Take a look at what went on in PE and Sport during this term:

Glossop Jog – more than 70 children took part in the jog on Sunday 2^nd October. It was a great family event and we look set to raise over £1000 for charity.

Year 5/6 Boys and Girls Football Tournaments – these took part during two afternoons in October at the astro turf in Hadfield. Although our teams didn’t win the events they represented our school beautifully and had lots of fun!

Year 3/4 Girls Football Festival – 12 girls went to an event organised by Glossop North End and this was designed to get girls interested in playing football. There were lots of skills based activities to take part in and the girls really enjoyed themselves and learned lots of new skills.

Year 1/2 Gymnastics Coaching – every Friday our Year 1/2 class go to the leisure centre where they are coached by professional gymnastics coaches and have exclusive use of all the equipment in the main hall.

After School Clubs – we have run 4 after school clubs:

• Gymnastics club for Years 3 and 4

• PAS for Key Stage 2

• Key Stage 2 Tag Rugby coaching

• Key Stage 1 Multi-Sports club

 

And of course we were awarded our School Games Bronze Mark Award which was fantastic!
