IT WAS ACCEPTABLE IN THE 80s!
As part of our Comic Relief celebrations, the whole school went back to the 80s. We all came to school dressed in 80s outfits, we listened to and discussed our opinions of 80s music and we found out how life was different in the 1980s. We had lots of fun!
In EYFS, we have been studying what life is like in Glossop now.
In Key Stage 1, we went on a local walk to find the Vivienne Westwood mural as part of our work in the history unit 'Who from my area has achieved extraordinary things?'
To deepen their knowledge and understanding of the impact the Romans had on life in Britain, Lower Key Stage 2 had a Roman day where they accessed a range of Roman workshops.
As part of the unit 'What do we know about the Victorians & the way they lived in Glossop?', Upper Key Stage 2 participated in a Victorian day, accessing a range of Victorian workshops.
