World Book Day 2024 will be one for the memories!

Children had a whole week of activities and enjoying 'Reading for pleasure.'

The week started with local author Johanne Lee coming in to school to read some of her recent books and poems. Then off to the local bookshop (Dark Peak Books) where our children went to use their World Book Day Voucher. Then of course our big day came and children visited 5 or 6 classes around the school which were staged as countries. Children were able to find out more about the country that the book in that class was from or based on. Then top it off some of our children visited Glossop Library!
