Hooked on Books

To support our new approach to learning to read, we have created displays around the school to show off the work we've been doing. Feel free to come in and have a closer look, and remember to ask your children about what they're getting up to in their Book Talk Sessions.

Star Writers

Every term, each class teacher chooses a child's writing to appear on the 'Star Writers' board (near the school office).  This is a really big deal because it means these particular children are showing real care, effort, accuracy and flair in their writing.  We are always delighted to celebrate great work in our school - work that shows enjoyment, excellence and effort

Teachers read too. Can you guess who?

Reading is so important all the way through life. The grown-ups in school love to read. Can you guess who these teachers are that are hiding behind their favourite books?
