Comic Relief 2019

We will be celebrating 'Red Nose Day' on Friday 15th March by inviting the children and staff to pay £1 to 'wear something funny for money.'  This could be a crazy outfit, a funny pair of shoes, a zany pair of glasses, a wacky hairstyle or a silly hat.

Every morning of the week beginning Monday 11th March, the school council will be selling red noses at play time.  Noses cost £1.25 each and there are 11 exciting designs, including two rare noses.

We will also be holding a 'Design a Red Nose' competition.  Children wishing to enter will need to pay their teacher 50p and they will then be given a design sheet.  Entries must be handed in by Friday 15th March and the school council will select 3 winners: 1 from EYFS and KS1, 1 from Lower Key Stage 2 (Year 3 and 4) and 1 from Upper Key Stage 2 (Yearv 5 and 6).  Each winner will receive a prize.

Children in Need 2018

The children had a wonderful day and they all looked fantastic in their pyjamas and onesies.  We also loved meeting the merry band of adorable teddy bears who were brought to school by the Whales and the Dolphins.

The school council generously gave up every break time during Children in Need week and they managed to sell all 60 of the Pudsey pin badges and over 200 wristbands!  Thanks to your generous donations we raised an impressive £547.69 for this fantastic cause.  Well done everyone! smiley
